got the van, but no driver. The very nice man who volunteered to drive
the van and support us rather inconveniently went and got a job
starting Monday.
So, we are now going into serious favour debt trying to get family and
friends to do a few days in shifts. Meanwhile Dean is going to drive.
But I can fit my toothbrush, and credit card in my pania, so I figure
we can do it without support. Martin might need to hire a trailer for
all his stuff - bet never mind.
We remain optimistic and are making great progress down the M5 to
Penzance, where we are staying in the YHA tonight.
Turns out at 49 I am the least qualified to stay in a YHA. So I am
Grandpa. Mike is the next at 46. Martin is the middle child - they
always say the middle one is the awkward one. Woody is the baby at 44.
Except for Dean who claims to be 25 - he must have had a hard
childhood.
Your intrepid reporter will endeavour to eek out more little gems for
those interested.
Regards
Simon
