Well we all meet at simons for a 5am start... And where is he????
Still in bed!! And WHAT an excuse....' I was
up until 2 trying to fix my bike'!
So, here we are day 1 having a cup of coffee in abergavenny, just a
little bit behind schedule!! Don't know who's fault that could be???
Only good thing is that he had to bring his wifes bike!! Yep, a girls bike!!!!
Oh!! And martins only been beeped once so far... Still watch this space.....

Day #1: Cardiff to Welshpool-ish. Not the start I Hoped For

21:00 Wednesday night slow puncture in rear wheel.
21:05 tried to remove rear wheel, brake too tight
21:06 release cable a tad
21;07 brakes explodes into bits
00:30 Thursday. Still trying to repair.
01:00 give up and transfer bits off my bike to Karen's
02:00 go to bed
05:00 door bell goes, I'm still asleep in bed
05:05 shuvle porridge down neck
05;15 we're off
05:16 stop to adjust saddle
05:17 stop again to adjust sadlle
05:18 OK, now we're off

But no clippy peddles - nightmare.
